Protection of Member Information
We understand the importance of privacy to our members and visitors to ictallahassee.org web site. Our policy has been to treat what we learn about our members as confidential. For example, we will not give or sell confidential or Personal Information (as described below) about our member to any third, except as required by law or as necessary to provide services to the member.

Retention of Member Information
We retain information, including Personal Information, about registered users as long as they are a registered member at ictallahassee.org. One the user chooses to un-register, all information related to the user will be deleted. This data cannot be retrieved by the user or the Site Administrator.

In addition to the information provided about Services above under "Cookies," the following paragraphs describe our commitment to the protection of Personal Information as it applies to ictallahassee.org.
Visitors to www.ictallahassee.org can, if they choose, participate in the interactive functions available under the Services tab or Classified section. Participants are required to complete a registration form before they can use the services at ictallahassee.org. This form includes information such as name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use the information from the registration form to enhance our services and better meet the needs and preferences of our users. With approval, we may also send e-mails to registered users about new web site updates, services and special offers that we think may be of interest. We allow registered users to choose to discontinue (opt-out) receiving such e-mails from ictallahassee.org at any time by editing their account profile under “My Account”. There are certain e-mails that ictallahassee.org may continue to send to registered users.
Services at ictallahassee.org will also include an Address Book that will allow users to enter the names and addresses of the people to whom they frequently contact. ”My Account” allows registered users to opt out of receiving e-mails regarding ictallahassee.org products, services and special offers. Opting-out can be accomplished by editing the user profile under “My Account”. There are certain e-mails (as noted above) that ictallahassee.org may continue to send.
Review, Modification, and Deletion of Personal Information
Registered users can review, modify, or delete the information previously provided at the registration site by editing their Profile information in “My Account” section. Review, add, and delete functions are also options within the Preferences and Address Book functions. Registered users should note that ictallahassee.org will use reasonable efforts to delete user information when requested but that some residual information may remain because of backup files and deletion logs.
Expiration of Data
Personal information provided on the ictallahassee.org registration form will be deleted if the user wishes to delete their account. Once the account the deleted, all information related to the account (information in the address book, stored phone numbers etc.) will also be deleted. This information CANNOT be retrieved so please use this option carefully.
